Join the Mandela Day Cathedral Peak Challenge and make a difference

Tammy Taylor Mrs South Africa Nicole Capper is at it again. She will be taking part in the Cathedral Peak Hotel Challenge Series where she will be leading 67 people out to climb to the top of Cathedral Peak in the Drakensberg.

“As part of the trek4mandela campaign, there will be a group summiting Kilimanjaro on 18 July. We form part of the South African experience, as 67 people attempt to Summit Cathedral Peak on 18 July; the largest number of people to summit Cathedral Peak on one day”, says Nicole.

The entire campaign is to raise money to buy sanitary towels for young girls who are unable to afford them. The 2018 expedition aims to raise enough funds to ensure that 500,000 girl children will not miss a day of school and give much-needed accessibility to sanitary towels; keeping the #GirlChild in school. “We’re asking each participant to donate R100 towards the campaign if they can”.

If you’re fit, aren’t scared of heights, are looking for an experience of a lifetime, and to make a difference on Nelson Mandela Day, Nicole and team are looking forward to welcoming you as part of the #CathedralPeakChallenge – #NelsonMandelaDay experience”.

You can enter the challenge here, and join the team on 18 July 2018 to complete the Cathedral Peak Challenge:
