Forbes Business Coach makes a mark in EL

 

Tamiko Cuellar the founder and CEO of Pursue Your Purpose LLC, a United States based organization that seeks to coach and train aspiring and upcoming women entrepreneurs globally with strategies to grow their businesses decided to visit East London women entrepreneurs to inspire them on this women’s month as she is pursuing her calling to visit Africa from God.

Tamiko Cuellar is an international business strategist and has published three books, including her latest release,” own your brilliance! - a women’s guide to hiring herself. She is also a proven leader in the market place among small business owners nationally and internationally. Cuellar has been invited to speak at corporations, cities and international governments, chambers of commerce, non-profit organizations, churches, conferences and on several radio and TV programs.

Cuellar hosted an event called, “OWN YOUR BRILLIANCE MASTER CLASS TOUR” in East London at the Osner hotel.

Various businesswomen were there to testify on how they started pursuing their purpose in life and started their own firms. Sandiswa Mgolozeli 24, the owner of Epitomely PRM, the company that brought Tamiko Cuellar to East London, shared how she started following her dreams after graduating in PR and Marketing from WSU that she surrounded herself with people that were useful and empowering to her and started her enterprise 5 months ago, as she welcomed the special guest Tamiko from the United States.

Tamiko mentioned that she has a team of global brand ambassadors in 3 countries, South Africa, Namibia, and Nigeria. She said one of her global brand ambassadors in Cape Town helped her meet Sandiswa who has a new ground breaking company in East London and has helped her to promote the event and gather entrepreneurial women around East London.

 Xolelwa Majiza from BCC Municipality made a speech as she said that, “They will continue to support and encourage women who are the solutions to the city, women with innovative business minds as they help put the city on the map”.

Tamiko also shared opportunities South African women have by doing business with the western countries and how she started her business with very little money she had as she stated that, “I lived in a poor community, in fact I didn’t know I was poor because everyone around me was poor”

Miss South Africa top 5 Thando Mfundisi did not show up for the event, but the event was a beautiful success and there were also young pupils from school whom were there to grasp the knowledge Tamiko had for Women as Sandisiwe said that, “we are not only investing in the upcoming women entrepreneurs but also in the future generation of our country”, Food and drinks were served after as women also received their full body massage vouchers from one of the sponsors Afika M hair and beauty.
