"I wanted to keep the kids out of the streets because to me being a good
a leader is giving back to the community",
 

These are the words of the iconic lady of the day Mrs. Felicia Mabuza-Suttle at the second annual
Gauteng High Impact Leadership Summit held in Soweto theatre,  Jabulani
yesterday.

Mabuza's personality filled the auditorium as she was given a standing
ovation at her first appearance as and she honored former public
protector Prof. Thuli Madonsela. Madonsela, a powerhouse shared her
experience as a public protector and she said that being a good leader
starts with self.  She went on to say that people should challenge
themselves if they want to become good leaders and they should be the
change they want to see.


A panel of business experts in their respective fields that included
radio, talk host and actress Masechaba Moshoeshoe- Mtolo, Zandile Nzalo
who is the founder and CEO of Zaneneza Holdings and Yasmin Masithela who
is head of Strategic Services at ABSA were some of the many that gave
their advice shared their views on how to be a good leader and how to
make it in the business world.
"If you are an entrepreneur, you should have an undying spirit", said
businesswoman Zama Phakathi.
 


Words of appreciation and praises came through from a long list of guest
speakers such as Prof. Thuli Madonsela, producer and composer Lebo "M"
Morake, entrepreneur Dj Sbu, radio personality, and businessman Tbo
Touch and international speaker, author, entrepreneur, and programme
director Abner Mariri who also encouraged the audience to network and
share information.

The day was topped with a special tribute performance by Sipho Hot
Stix-Mabuza in honor of Mrs. Felicia Mabuza-Suttle and an unveiling a
grandiose oil painting of her.
 

"Everything originates from a thought. A made-up mind is the most
powerful mind", said businessman and Touch HD founder and owner Tbo
Touch.
