"Im looking forward to a fun night my friends and entertaining an audience that spent their money to come and see us."

The Big Top Arena at Carnival City will come alive this Saturday (3rd November) as Sifiso Nene will be hosting The Combo Comedy Show. Now this is a comedy show that pulled out all stops, some might even call it the mother of all comedy shows in the country.

There is the likes of Tumi Morake, whom some say is the goddess of the comedy industry, that will be teasing up some fans on stage.

Spending Saturday night indoors is not an option this weekend unless you are willing to miss out on some great comedy fun. Think about what you will be missing out on when Trevor Gumbi hits the stage. We all know that a comedy show without Trevor is incomplete, now why would you want to miss out?

Trevor Gumbi is known for his many talents in the entertainment industry.  He has dominated the world of comedy which started by him attending a comedy show with friends in Melville and it never stopped.

Apart from being a comedian Trevor is also an actor and a presenter. He replaced DJ Sbu on the famous variety show Friends Like These on SABC. You may also know him from his days on SesTopLa. With all these shows and movies one might think that this is a different Trevor but no this is the same Trevor throughout.

Comedy is his first love because when asked about choosing between acting in an action movie or doing a 10 hour comedy show, he chose comedy. He is very passionate about his work in the comedy industry but that has not made him feel like a god of the industry. Infact he is more than happy that he will be on the same show as Tumi Stopnonsons, Siya Seya, Mpho Popps, Tumi Morake, SalesmN, Loyiso Madiga, Thenjiwe Moseley and Sifiso Nene. All these acts Trevor believes they can give him a run for his money.

Though this is not his first time working with the lined up acts for The Combo Comedy Show, Trevor is ecstatic about the show. "I’m looking forward to a fun night my friends and entertaining an audience that spent their money to come and see us." Trevor has the utmost respect for his fellow comedians and sees them all as extremely funny individuals.

Trevor might not choose to see himself as a pro of any of his endeavours but instead he puts the whole of him in every single one of them. He is yet to encounter his best moment in the entertainment industry as he describes his career in comedy as "Coming Of Age".

Sifiso Nene has indeed outdone himself with The Combo Comedy Show and for anyone to miss it would be a real heart breaker.  The show will be taking place on the 3rd of November at the Big Top Arena in Carnival City. Tickets are sold at R250 for the bold audience that wouldn't mind getting teased and R150 for those laced with fear.

Tickets available at Computicket.
