On National Cupcake Day at the weekend, Tammy Taylor Mrs South Africa finalists across the country sold cupcakes for change in aid of Women 4 Women, a charity organization that uplifts women.

The Mrs South Africa organization together with Women 4 women has embarked on an initiative to raise one million rand towards young girls education.

SA Positive News caught up with two finalists Melissa Charnley and Nombina Habangana who were selling their cupcakes at Clearwater Mall, West of Johannesburg. This initiative is not about getting points to win the coveted title but as a medical doctor Im passionate about issues pertaining to womens health and women and empowerment. We are all working together to achieve a common goal, said Nombina.

Melissa and Nombina enjoyed the support of their generous sponsors: Clearwater Mall, Food Lovers Market, Sugar n Ice, Graham Timm and Qabukani Mazibuko.
